Hi Cornellians,
Cornell Club Singapore is organizing a Satay
Party to welcome back recent batch of returning
graduates. Yes, you heard it right, tasty and authentic satay prepared by
Moonshe who also prepared the satays served in SQ Raffles & First class.
This invitation is extended to all alumni as well as current students.

Movie Night-Out
Hi Cornellians,
Jointly with Columbia, MIT and UPenn Clubs, we're excited to arrange a movie
viewing of the X-men - The Last Stand
(2006) during its first weekend of public screening on May 27. We've
block-booked the best seats in the house that evening. The details are as

Send-off for Cornell Club President
It is with sadness for the Cornell Alumni Club (Singapore), but also with great
pleasure for our Club President Edwin Padlan that we announce that Ed will be
departing for the U.S. to attend Wharton Business School come September.
He and his wife Regan will be leaving Singapore at the end of May to spend the
summer in Philadelphia, acclimating to the non-humid weather, getting used to
non-spicy cheese-steaks, learning to use a HP-12 to calculate NPVs and IRRs,
and celebrating July 4th at Independence Hall.
To celebrate his entry to Wharton, and to thank Ed for his three years of superb
and dedicated service as the Cornell Alumni Club (Singapore) President, we are
inviting everyone from Cornell and DUAL to join us to send Ed and Regan off
with style and warm wishes. We hope you can join us.

Rock Climbing
We're kicking off this New Year with a very Cornellian activity -
rock-climbing! Miss scaling across the library wall,
down the gorges or up McGraw Tower? Never tried but always wanted to? Here's
your chance! Limited to 20 people, ages 5 and onwards, fun for children and
adults alike.

Zinck's Night
Cornell Club (Singapore) cordially invites you to Zinck's Night. It started
back in 1890s, when Theodore Zinck was a saloonkeeper in Ithaca and his pub,
the Hotel Brunswick, was a popular gathering place for Cornellians. When the
bar was closed in the mid-60s, celebrating the spirit of Zinck's became a
favorite Thursday night Collegetown tradition of undergraduates.
Today Spirit of Zinck's Night is celebrated in over 90 locations around the
world. So come join us and network with other Cornell alumni @ Ice Cold Beer.

Annual General Meeting - 2005
Join us next Thursday at one of the pubs at Boat Quay as Cornell Club of
Singapore will be holding our Annual General Meeting there. Come listen to the
